Delay Management Strategies Empty Delay Management Strategies

Post by NX Express 21st February 2010, 11:22 am

This is a thread where one user thinks of a possible delay/breakdown/etc. that affects service, and then has to think of how to reroute trains to maintain regular operation.
I'll start with an easy one.

Northbound :B train: train broke down at 7 Avenue (in Brooklyn).
Time: Rush Hour
Probable Duration: 45 minutes

What would you do?

I think you mean run it over the :N train: from CONEY ISLAND to Dekalb. Also, what about the :Q train:?

Yes! The correct answer was:
Send the uptown :B train: over the :F train: from Coney Island to Broadway-Lafayette. Send the uptown :Q train: over the :N train: from CI to Dekalb!
